Service Officer School will be June 5-6 in Green Bay

The Service Officer School will start before the DAV/DAVA State Convention and be held over 2 days. The pertinent information is below:

Where: Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay
When: Wednesday, June 5th at 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Thursday, June 6th at 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Instructor: Brian Wilson, National Service Officer Supervisor

Room location will be announced at a later date.

All attendees need to be listed as a Chapter Service Officer (CSO) on the Chapter Officer Report (COR) submitted to DAV National Headquarters and State Headquarters. The CSO information must contain Name, Membership Number, Address, Phone Number, and Email Address.

Chapters may send more than one member to the School. To do so, Chapters must update their COR with an attachment listing the attendees complete information. The updated COR must be sent to DAV National Headquarters and State Headquarters by mail or email.

Additionally, a copy needs to be sent to the DAV National Office in Milwaukee. The updated COR must contain the Commander and Adjutant signatures and dated for Certification.

Please submit all CORs by May 14th so there will be ample course materials for the attendees. Rooms at the Radisson are available at the DAV Room Rate of $93 plus tax on the evening of June 5. If you have trouble getting this rate, please contact DAV Headquarters (920/338-8620). Rooms must be booked before May 15th to get the $93 plus tax rate.
