How You Can Help

Wisconsin DAV has 36 DAV vans that bring veterans to their VA medical treatments. These vans serve major VA medical facilities in Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Tomah, and VA outpatient clinics in Appleton, Green Bay, Superior, Union Grove, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids.

We have to replenish our fleet each year with 4-8 new vans due to excess mileage.

Help veterans get to their VA medical treatments by donating to the Wisconsin DAV Transportation Network.

Since DAV is a nonprofit 501 (c) (4), all donations are tax-deductible according to IRS regulations.

DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.


We provide free, professional assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining VA and other government benefits earned through service. We offer free rides to veterans who need help getting to and from VA medical appointments. We fight for the rights of wounded, injured and ill veterans on Capitol Hill in Washington DC and at the Capitol in Madison.
